Concert
The Concert on May 4th was a huge success. Featuring the Junior and Senior Choirs, we were treated to familiar melodies from the past years. It was a night enjoyed by all who attended.
Journal Dinner
Our Journal Dinner, in celebration of our Diamond Jubilee and Rabbi Goren's 25 years in the Rabbinate, was a night to remember. With over 200 people in attendance, we prayed together at a service and then were served a beautiful Shabbat meal catered by Kombert Caterers.
Rabbi Goren's Special Service
June 8th was a special night for Rabbi Goren, as well as all those who attended. A carefully planned and executed "This is Your Life" was part of our Shabbat Service. Many people from the congregation spoke about their particular relationship with Rabbi Goren. We were then treated to a movie in the ballroom with messages from his friends and family who could not be with us to celebrate. A special oneg topped off the evening.
Tee-Shirts and Family Run
Tee-shirts have been on sale and will continue to be sold. They feature our 60th anniversary logo. We used them on our Boardwalk walk/run, and will be wearing them when we do our special video event in the fall. Call the office to purchase a shirt.
A Note About our Journal
We are proud to say that we have "gone green" by producing our first CD Journal. In addition, the journal can be viewed on our web site by clicking below the logo on the home page. We hope that you take time to view it. We thank those who supported the Journal by taking ads and hope that you will support those vendors who supported us!
